There are 2 ways to apply for Unemployment: Online or by Phone. OhioMeansJobs has computers and a phone people can use to apply if they do not have access to these resources at home. We also have a fax and copy machine available to the public if someone needs to send Unemployment verifications.

It is important to know we cannot file unemployment claims, accept verifications for unemployment, or even troubleshoot filing issues. Unfortunately, Unemployment does not have a physical office for claimants to go to in the state.
